Bio

SOFT COLLISION is a Denver-based melodic-dubstep producer duo: Iris Bennett shapes the melodic synth world, while Malik Rowan develops the bass sound and live-sampler movement. Songs begin with a small emotional motif and expand into substantial half-time drops that retain that motif instead of abandoning it. Instrumental releases and English-language guest vocal tracks are both planned. The two producers remain clearly identified as producers; guest singers are credited separately. Worn rehearsal spaces, burnt orange and ink blue keep the imagery human, tactile and plausible rather than turning the duo into futuristic avatars.
